Beet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    beets
    1/2 beet juice
    1/2 vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar (for each qt. of liquid)
Preparation
    Cook beets and slice into sterilized jars. Pour over beets the beet juice, vinegar, salt and sugar. Let come to boil. Seal jars.
