Filbert Fancies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shelled unblanched filberts
    2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    1 beaten egg
    2 sq. (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. (about 4 c.) tiny marshmallows
    1 c. shredded coconut
Preparation
    Coarsely chop filberts; spread on baking sheet.
    Toast in 350\u00b0 oven about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool.
    Beat powdered sugar, butter or margarine, vanilla and salt into beaten egg until very light and fluffy.
    Add cooled chocolate.
    Fold into marshmallows and nuts.
    Drop from teaspoon into bowl of coconut; roll evenly to coat.
    Place on waxed paper-lined baking sheets.
