Daiquiri Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon pudding (not instant)
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime gelatin
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. water
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. light rum
    1 3/4 c. Cool Whip
    1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust
Preparation
    Combine pudding mix, gelatin and sugar in a saucepan.
    Stir in 1/2 cup water and eggs.
    Blend well.
    Add remaining water.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove from heat.
    Stir in rum.
    Chill 1/2 hour in refrigerator (not freezer).
    Blend Cool Whip into chilled mixture.
    Spoon into pie crust and chill for 2 hours.
    Garnish with additional Cool Whip and, if you wish, you can put lime slices on top also.
