Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 German chocolate cake mix with pudding in the mix
14 oz. pkg. caramels, approximately 50
1 stick oleo
2/3 c. sweetened condensed milk
1 c. chopped walnuts
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Mix cake as directed.
Pour half of batter in a well-greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
While it bakes, melt caramels, oleo and milk slowly.
Spread caramel mixture over cake. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips on top.
Pour on rest of cake batter.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes longer.
Top with Cool Whip, if desired.
