Country Cheddar Bread With Herbs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. hot roll mix
    1/2 c. coarsely grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. dried basil leaves
    1 1/2 tsp. dried tarragon
    1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
    1 large egg, lightly beaten
Preparation
    Prepare roll mix according to package directions, adding dry ingredients to package mix.
    Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface.
    Knead for 5 minutes.
    Shape dough into round ball and press lightly onto greased cookie sheet.
    Cover with kitchen towel and allow to rise in a warm, draft-free place for 20 minutes.
