Cabbage Salad (Kapusta) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 small onions, chopped
    2 1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
    3 Tbsp. celery seed
    3 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. vinegar
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 large cabbage
Preparation
    Shred cabbage, then heat all other ingredients together to a boil.
    Pour hot mixture over cabbage and stir.
    Cool.
    Refrigerate in a sealed bowl.
    Stir several times a day.
    Make 3 to 4 days ahead for best flavor.
