Honey Whole-Wheat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. honey
2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
2 pkg. active dry yeast
3 eggs, slightly beaten
4 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. soft butter
Preparation
-
In a small saucepan, heat milk until bubbles form around edge of pan.
Remove from heat.
Add shortening, honey and salt, stirring until shortening is melted.
Let cool to lukewarm or tepid.
If possible, check temperature of warm water with thermometer.
