Fettuccini Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1/4 c. whipped cream
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. fettuccini
    nutmeg to taste
    salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cream butter in bowl.
    Gradually blend in cream and cheese; stir until thoroughly mixed.
    Set aside.
    Cook fettuccini in boiling, salted water.
    Drain and transfer to a warmed serving dish.
    Pour the cheese mixture over the pasta and toss until pasta is well coated.
    Season with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
