Pecan Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. unsifted coarse whole-wheat flour
1 c. pastry or cake flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. pecan meats, cut fine
Preparation

Mix in a bowl the whole-wheat flour, pastry or cake flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add buttermilk and pecan meats. Stir well. Spoon into a buttered loaf pan, 9 x 5-inches. Bake about 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
