Conway'S Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans sliced beets
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Drain liquid from one can of beets and discard.
    Take one can of liquid and add sugar and cider vinegar.
    Bring to boil and put beets in.
    Bring to another boil and turn off heat.
    Let stand for 1 hour.
    Put in quart jars and seal.
    Let stand 24 hours, then refrigerate.
