Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cake or pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    3/4 c. vegetable shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift together several times the first 5 ingredients.
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Cut the vegetable shortening into dry ingredients.
    Add buttermilk and water/yeast mixture.
    Work together until all flour is moistened.
    Cover and refrigerate. Use as needed.
    Will keep for a week or longer.
