Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 lb. margarine
    18 oz. milk chocolate morsels
    1 tall can evaporated milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine sugar, milk, salt and margarine. After coming to a rolling boil, boil slowly for 10 minutes. Turn off heat. Add chocolate morsels and vanilla. Beat with electric mixer for 5 minutes. Pour into 3 buttered platters or pans. Pecans can be added if preferred. Makes 5 pounds.
