Saucy Oriental Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sliced chuck steak
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    2 envelopes onion Cup-a-Soup
    3/4 c. water
    1 sliced red or green bell pepper
    1 c. tomato wedges
    1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Brown chuck steak in oil.
    Add garlic powder, soup and 3/4 cup of water.
    Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
    Add bell pepper and tomato wedges and simmer an additional 15 minutes.
    Add cornstarch, blended with 1/4 cup of water.
    Bring to a boil. Simmer until thickened.
    Makes 2 servings.
