Hearty Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 (14 oz.) cans beef broth
    1 (14.5 oz.) can mixed vegetables, drained
    2 (14.5 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
    2 (14.5 oz.) cans whole new potatoes, drained and cubed
Preparation
    Brown meat with onions in a pot. Cook until onion is tender and drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste, if desired. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
