Heavenly Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    3 to 4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar, then add boiling water; set aside and allow to cool.
    In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast with warm water; add this to cool mixture and beat together.
    Add egg and salt and beat into mixture.
    Add enough flour to form a soft dough, but not runny dough.
