Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hash browns, thawed
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    10 oz. cheese, shredded
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Mix together.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish or casserole. Crumble 2 cups of cornflakes; mix with 1/4 cup melted butter.
    Put on top.
    Buttered crumbs may be used.
    Ham may be added.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 6.
