Smoked Sausage With Cabbage, Sweet Potatoes And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. Hillshire Farm smoked sausage, cut in 1/2-inch slices
    1 (13 1/4 oz.) can chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 lb. sweet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
    2/3 c. chopped onions
    1 1/4 lb. green cabbage, shredded coarse
    1 large golden Delicious apple, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
Preparation
    Mix chicken broth, mustard and mustard seed in deep 12-inch skillet. Bring to a boil.
    Add sweet potatoes and onions.
    Then on medium, cover and cook 5 minutes.
    Add sausage and cabbage.
    Then cover and cook about 15 minutes, stirring once or twice.
    Stir in apple.
    Cover and simmer 3 minutes until apple is crisp-tender.
