Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. margarine or butter
2 eggs
1 c. coconut
1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. wheat germ
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
In large bowl, combine all ingredients, except 1 cup flour, oats, nuts, wheat germ and coconut.
Beat at medium speed until well blended, about 1 to 2 minutes.
By hand, stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool 1 minute.
Remove from cookie sheet.
