Ambrosia Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/3 c. confectioners sugar
    3/4 c. margarine, chilled
    2 c. packed light brown sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
    36 pecan halves
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix 1 1/2 cups flour and 1/3 cup confectioners sugar in medium bowl.
    Cut in 3/4 cup margarine until crumbly.
    Press into a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes.
    Combine brown sugar, eggs, chopped pecans, coconut, 1/4 cup flour and baking powder in a large bowl.
    Mix well.
    Spread over baked layer.
    Combine 2 cups confectioners sugar, lemon juice and 2 tablespoons margarine.
    Mix until smooth. Spread over cooled layer.
    Chill in refrigerator.
    Cut into bars and top with pecan halves.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Makes 3 dozen.
