English Muffin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    6 c. unsifted flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. skim milk
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. water
    yellow cornmeal
Preparation
    Grease two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pans and sprinkle with cornmeal.
    Set aside.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, salt, sugar and baking soda in a large bowl.
    Heat liquids until very warm.
    Add to dry mixture.
    Beat well.
    Stir in remaining flour to make a stiff batter.
    Spoon into pans. Sprinkle tops with cornmeal.
    Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes.
    Bake for 25 minutes.
    Remove from pans immediately and cool on racks.
