Cottage Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 (one-inch thick) pork chops
3 c. sliced potatoes
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. thinly sliced carrots
1/2 c. sliced bell pepper
3/4 c. water
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Brown pork chops, both sides, then take chops out of pan and set aside.
Add water to pan where chops were fried, to deglaze the pan.
Layer all vegetables in large casserole.
Put pork chops on top of vegetables, add salt and pepper, now pour glazing water over all ingredients.
Bake at 350\u00b0 with foil laying loosely over top for first 30 minutes, remove foil and bake uncovered 30 minutes more.
Makes 4 servings.
