Maid Of Honor Cupcakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
2 unbeaten eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix the shortening and sugar, then add eggs.
Blend well.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder into mixture.
Add vanilla.
Make little balls and place into small cupcake tin which has been greased (or use mini cupcake papers).
Press down with your fingers.
Make an indentation.
Fill with jam mixture of your choosing (1/2 cup jam and 1/2 cup nuts).
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream; garnish with cherries.
