Spinach Alexander - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped spinach
    1/2 c. spinach, liquid
    5 Tbsp. butter
    2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. black pepper
    8 oz. jalapeno cheese, cut into small cubes
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. red pepper
    4 drops Tabasco sauce
    buttered bread crumbs (optional)
Preparation
    Cook spinach according to package directions.
    Drain and reserve liquid.
    Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
    Add flour, stirring, until well blended and smooth.
    Do not brown. Add reserved spinach liquid, stirring constantly.
    Cook until smooth and thick.
    Add remaining ingredients, except bread crumbs. Stir until cheese melts.
    Combine with cooked spinach.
    Serve immediately or put into a casserole dish and top with bread crumbs.
