Fruit Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1 egg
    1/3 c. water
    1/4 c. oil
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. broken up mincemeat in 3 Tbsp. water
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Empty about 1/2 package of cake mix into bowl.
    Add egg, water and oil.
    Blend in remaining cake mix, batter will be thick.
    Stir in mincemeat and nuts.
    Turn batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    It will appear slightly puffed but will flatten.
    Then glaze while warm.
    Cut into bars when cool.
    Yields 4 dozen bars.
