Quick Cherry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can pitted sour cherries (heavy syrup)
    1 pkg. vanilla wafers
    4 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Drain cherries; reserve syrup.
    Into a 2-quart casserole dish, layer vanilla wafers, cherries and marshmallows.
    Pour reserved syrup evenly over marshmallows.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve with ice cream or whip cream.
