Best Yet Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light or dark corn syrup
1 stick margarine (1/2 c.)
1/4 heaping tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
5 qt. fresh popcorn
1 c. salted peanuts
Preparation

Boil sugar, syrup, butter and cream of tartar together for 5 minutes and quickly stir in soda.
Pour over mixture of popcorn and salted peanuts.
Spread into lightly greased cookie sheet. Put in low oven (200\u00b0) for 40 minutes.
Stir every 10 minutes. Store tightly covered.
