Crock-Pot Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef, cut in 1-inch pieces
    3 carrots, sliced
    3 stalks celery
    1 to 2 onions, cut in chunks
    1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    2 medium potatoes, sliced
    1/2 c. frozen or fresh peas
    1/2 c. quick cooking tapioca
    1 whole clove
    2 bay leaves
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Put all ingredients except peas in crock-pot and mix thoroughly.
    Cover and cook on low 12 hours (high 5 to 6 hours). Add peas in the last 1/2 hour of cooking.
