Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
3 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Put milk in a heavy saucepan over medium high heat.
Combine sugar and flour.
Pour a little hot milk in sugar and flour mixture to make syrup consistency.
Just as milk is about to boil, pour sugar and flour mixture in milk, stirring quickly.
Bring to boil for about 1 minute.
Beat egg yolks.
Pour about 1/2 pudding in, stirring well.
Pour in remaining pudding.
Return to heat and bring just to a boil.
Remember to stir constantly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and butter.
Pour in baked pie shell.
Top with meringue.
Beat egg whites until peaks.
Add 6 tablespoons of sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until light brown.
