Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. soft bread cubes
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. milk, scalded
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Combine sugar, salt, flavoring, butter, cinnamon and egg.
Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
Add bread cubes and raisins. Mix thoroughly.
Pour into well buttered baking dish.
Set in pan of warm water and place in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
Cool and serve.
