Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stewing beef, in cubes
    1 c. Burgundy or red wine
    2 cans consomme soup
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 sliced onion
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    4 carrots (whole)
Preparation
    Combine all, except beef and carrots.
    Stir.
    Mixture will be lumpy.
    Add beef and carrots.
    Cook in covered casserole dish at 300\u00b0 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until beef is tender.
    Serve with white rice.
