1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour (all-purpose), sifted
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Add flour, milk and vanilla; beat well. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 to 50 minutes.
Frost with your favorite frosting.
A Divinity Frosting is good or we would slice fresh oranges and put them in 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup orange juice; cook just until sugar melted.
Put this on cake layers, then frost with a Cream Frosting.
