Chili Con Queso(Hot Cheese Dip) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 to 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin seed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    2 to 4 jalapenos, peeled and chopped (medium hot)
    1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    2 canned pimentos, chopped
    2 lb. American pasteurized cheese, cubed
Preparation
    Saute onions and green peppers in hot oil until onions are translucent.
    Add in spices, jalapenos, stewed tomatoes and pimentos.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Stir in cheese slowly.
    Serve immediately in bowls along with corn or tortilla chips.
    Great with beer!
