Homemade Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen soup vegetables
    1/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 small can tomato sauce
    5 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Lightly brown ground beef. Drain off fat. Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Simmer, covered, for 45 minutes.
