Shrimp Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 cloves crushed or minced garlic
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    1 c. cooking sherry
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill or 1 1/2 Tbsp. dry dill
    2 lb. fresh (not frozen) peeled and deveined shrimp
Preparation
    Saute garlic in butter, add other ingredients, except shrimp, and simmer until blended.
    Add shrimp and toss gently until pink. Serve over rice.
    May sprinkle with chopped parsley and/or Parmesan cheese.
