Low Calorie Lemon Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 broiling chickens, cut up
1/2 c. bottled lemon juice
1/4 c. salad oil
oregano
garlic powder
salt
Preparation

Lay cut up chicken in broiling pan, skin side down.
Pour lemon juice over chicken.
Add salad oil, making sure all pieces are moistened.
Lightly sprinkle oregano, garlic powder and salt on chicken.
(May vary according to taste.)
Broil over lowest rack in oven.
(May not be suitable for gas oven.)
Check after 25 minutes.
Turn chicken over, skin side up.
Spoon juices over all pieces.
Return to broiler and continue cooking another 30 minutes.
Make sure chicken doesn't burn.
Serve with white or fried rice; spoon juice from chicken over rice.
Cooking time 1 hour. Serves 6 to 8 people.
