Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 Tbsp. oleo
6 Tbsp. flour
1 qt. milk
1 lb. American cheese, cubed or sliced
2 cups chicken broth
2 Tbsp. oleo
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped carrots
salt, pepper and hot sauce to taste
Preparation

Make a white sauce by melting 8 Tbsp. oleo, adding flour and slowly adding milk.
Stir until thickened.
Add
cheese.
Saute vegetables in 2 Tbsp. butter.
Stir often and combine with chicken stock.
Mix with white sauce and cheese mixture.
Serve hot with bread sticks.
Serves 8.
