Dr. Bird Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. nuts (chopped)
    1 1/2 c. oil
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    2 c. diced bananas
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix flour, soda, cinnamon, salt, sugar and nuts in large bowl.
    Add oil, pineapple, vanilla, eggs and bananas.
    Do not beat.
    Just stir together.
    Pour into greased tube pan or 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 1 hour plus or until tests done with toothpick.
    (Cake will crack slightly on top.)
    Cool in pan on rack.
    Cake is moist.
    Keeps well.
    Turn out tube pan cake and frost.
    Can frost in 9 x 13-inch pan without taking out of pan.
