Vanilla Custard Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. cream
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 c. cream
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour and salt in saucepan.
    Add 2 cups cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
    Cook 2 additional minutes.
    Add small amount of hot mixture to eggs, then return all to pan; cook, stirring, 1 minute more.
    Remove from heat, add remaining 2 cups cream and vanilla.
    Chill thoroughly.
    You can add chopped fresh fruit when it goes into the freezer.
