Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Betty Crocker Super Moist German Chocolate cake mix
    1 small can evaporated milk
    14 oz. caramels
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    In double boiler, mix caramels with 1/3 c. evaporated milk. Combine cake mix, butter, nuts and remaining milk.
    Press 1/2 of mixture into a 13 x 9 inch casserole dish.
    Bake 6 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Layer chocolate chips and melted caramels over first layer, then press on remaining cake mix.
    Bake 18 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Cool completely, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm. Brownies may be sliced into squares and removed from the pan for serving.
