Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
chopped nuts (optional)
decorative candies (optional)
18 large marshmallows, cut in half
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except marshmallows and nuts.
Mix until smooth.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes, then top each cookie with marshmallow half and return to oven for one minute. Remove.
Cool, then frost with chocolate icing and decorate with nuts, etc.
