Peanut Butter Thumbprints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    2 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. creamy or crunchy peanut butter
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 3/4 c. finely chopped unsalted dry roasted peanuts
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chocolate chips, melted
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and peanut butter until well blended.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
    Stir together flour, baking powder and baking soda. Gradually add to peanut butter mixture.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in peanuts.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies are just set.
    Press thumb gently in center of each cookie; cool slightly.
    Remove cookies from sheet.
    Cool completely.
    Prepare filling.
    Spoon or pipe about 1/2 teaspoon filling into each thumbprint.
