Onion-Herb Batter Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 tsp. butter or margarine
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 Tbsp. instant onion
    1/2 tsp. dried dill weed, rosemary or other herb
    melted butter
    coarse salt
Preparation
    Scald milk; remove from heat.
    Stir in sugar, salt and butter until dissolved.
    Cool.
    In large bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add cooled milk mixture.
    Stir flour into yeast mixture.
    Add onions and herbs.
    Stir together until well blended.
    Cover and let rise in warm place until tripled in bulk (45 minutes).
