Spoon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 Tbsp. melted butter
3 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
salt to taste
Preparation

Add boiling water to meal and stir until mixed.
Allow to cool, then add melted butter, well beaten eggs, milk, salt and baking powder.
Blend well, beating with mixer or rotary egg beater.
Pour into well-greased baking dish and bake in moderate oven for about 30 minutes.
