Bible Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter (Judges 25)
2 1/2 c. sugar (Jeremiah 6:20)
2 Tbsp. honey (1 Samuel 14:25)
1/2 doz. eggs (Jeremiah 17:11)
1/2 c. milk (Judges 4:19)
2 Tbsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. salt (Amos 4:5)
1 c. raisins (1 Samuel 30:12)
mixed spices to taste (2 Chronicles)
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to butter with milk.
Beat well and bake in steeple pan 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
