Easy Cheesies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box lemon cake mix
1 stick margarine, melted
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 can ready-to-spread lemon frosting
8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)

Preparation

Mix in a large bowl by hand: cake mix, melted margarine and egg.
Press into ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Mix lemon frosting and cream cheese in large bowl by hand. Reserve 1 cup.
Spread rest of frosting mix on top of cake mixture and bake 25 minutes.
Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake 20 more minutes or until light brown.
Cool completely.
Spread on reserved cup of frosting mix.
Cut into 2-inch bars.
