Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. yellow corn meal
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    2/3 c. oil
    1/2 c. green chilies
    1 to 2 chopped jalapeno peppers (optional)
    1 c. creamed corn
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except cheese.
    Pour 1/2 batter into greased pan.
    Sprinkle with cheese and pour remaining batter in pan.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
