Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. warm water
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda.
    Add shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add with buttermilk to flour mixture.
    Mix well and turn out on floured board.
    If needed, add more flour to make a soft dough. Roll out 1/4-inch thick. Brush with melted butter.
    Bake 15 minutes at 400\u00b0. Biscuits are better if allowed to stand awhile before baking.
    May be stored in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
