Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
3 lb. beef, cubed
1/3 c. shortening or salad oil
1/2 c. finely chopped onion or 2 Tbsp. instant minced onion
2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. hot water
8 medium carrots
8 medium potatoes, cubed
16 small onions (optional)
Preparation

Combine flour, pepper and 1 teaspoon salt.
Add meat cubes and toss until well coated.
Reserve leftover flour.
