Brown Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed (half light and half dark)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts, chopped medium-fine (walnuts or pecans)
Preparation
    In small mixing bowl, beat egg until light and fluffy.
    Add sugar and vanilla and stir until smooth.
    Quickly stir in salt, soda and flour.
    Add nuts and drop by teaspoonfuls on greased pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 about 7 to 9 minutes or until edges are slightly browned.
    Do not overbake.
