Horehound Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. dried horehound leaves
    1 pt. water
    1 c. strained solution
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
Preparation
    Boil horehound and water until mixture is reduce to half.
    Then combine the other ingredients to liquid mixture.
    Boil to hard crack stage and pour onto well-greased cookie sheet or marble slab. When cool, break into pieces.
